► Dear Sir/Madam,
My wife left me taken my 1.6 Years baby with her to Dharwad and not showing or allowing me to meet from one month, her father supporting this by bringing Gundas when we visited last time. Is it possible to have right of visit as court judgement or order may delay to months or years.

Dear Client,
You can start the custody proceedings as per the Guardians and Wards Act, 1890. Due to the length of the final judgment, you are also allowed to file an interlocutory application as per Section 12 of this Act to seek immediate interim visitation rights. Courts usually give priority to the best interest of the minor child and grant temporary visitation during the course of the petition. You can also lodge a formal complaint with the police or seek a civil injunction against your father-in-law in the matter of physical intimidation. I hope this answer helps.
