Dear Client, as per your query, as the child of a retired Sub-Inspector of the Central Force (CRPF, BSF, ITBP, etc.), you are eligible for the Prime Minister's Scholarship Scheme (PMSS) if your father served in the Central Force and you are studying your first professional course (like B.Tech., M.B.B.S., MBA, etc.) with at least 60% marks. However, if the father is a retired police officer of the State Police force, the eligibility for central schemes is only for the children of martyrs. In such cases, you may apply for the State Police Welfare Funds by submitting the Pension Payment Order (PPO) of the police officer at the police headquarters of the district where the police officer is from or by applying online through the National Scholarship Portal.  I hope this answer is helpful. In case of further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Thank You.
