► I need some guidance regarding my documents . On my SSC, HSC, and Leaving Certificate, my mother's first name(Kavita) is mentioned. However, on my degree marksheets and degree certificate, my mother's full name (kavita ramesh bansode) is mentioned. Because of this difference, I am confused about what I should do. Will a notarized affidavit stating that both names refer to the same person be sufficient, or do I need to get my degree documents corrected? Correcting all the degree documents seems like a very long and hectic process, so I would really appreciate legal advice. Will this problem affect my Foreign university application and visa process

Dear Sir,

Prepare a Notarized Affidavit stating that both names refer to the same person.

Typical wording:

I, (Your Name), S/o or D/o (Father's Name), residing at (address), do hereby declare that my mother’s name appearing as “Kavita” in my SSC, HSC and Leaving Certificate and “Kavita Ramesh Bansode” in my Degree Marksheets and Degree Certificate refers to one and the same person, i.e., my mother.

Attach copies of:

Your educational certificates

Your mother's ID proof (Aadhaar / PAN etc.)
