► My father had buy shares of Trent.Ltd with his friend in 1990 jointly. around 1995, my father's friend moved to New zealand, my father paid him the amount of his part and acquired the share certificate, my father and his friend visited trent office in mumbai but shares were not transferred to my father due to limited time. during 2015, my father found the contact of his Friend and asked him to provide notarized documents for share transfer, which he provided by completing notary in New zealand and courier to us, but share depository rejected claim stating that notary official in new zealand had not stamped all the pages and sign differ. the transfer was rejected even after paying stamp duty, courier charges and payment to his friend to get day off to get notary done. after that SEBI had stop share transfer process and me and my brother had no contact of my father's friend. I was writing to the Share depository company meanwhile and they told me that I need a court order. I recently found the contact of my father's friend and explain him the situation and he is willing to provide all the documents to relinquish his right and surety for no objection in shares been transferred to me and my brother, we have been asked to get court order from civil court. my question is what Documents we would need from the surviving partner to get the court order and he Lives in Australia, what process he should follow to get notaries done over there? how would he provide KYC if he is not indian citizen, and could you suggest the list of all documents to prove the matter to court.
