► I had taken a new car under car lease policy in a company where I was working. Our company had a tie-up with a car lease company and as per the agreement the car will be transferred to my name after 5 years after I pay full EMIs. But after completion of 5 years I could not get the ownership transfer even after paying the total EMI amounts. Later it came to knowledge that the car lease company got bankrupted and closed. In this situation, how can I transfer the ownership as I am using the car.

Yes you need to file a Petition in Consumer Forum for the same to get orders for transfer of the ownership in your name. If you are at Hyderabad I can help you
