► I am 25 years old. My family is forcing me to get married to a boy of their choice in May. I do not want this marriage because I want to marry my boyfriend by my own choice. My family is putting a lot of pressure on me and sometimes they also hit me. I want to know what legal protection I can get and what steps I can take to stop this forced marriage and marry the person of my choice. Also, I have kept my personal documents with me for safety. Can my family file a theft case against me for that?
