Dear Client,

Kindly obtain a copy of the challan and verify the specific offences you have been charged with, this is to ensure that if the challan includes only parking and helmet violations or any other additional offences such as registration, insurance etc. If you have enough reasons to believe that you have been charged wrongfully or the amount is excessive, you may contest it before the competent Traffic Court/Magistrate instead of immediately paying the fine. You should also visit the traffic police office or the impound yard with all the necessary documents relating to your vehicle to release your motorcycle. If there are any factual errors in the challan, gather all the necessary evidence to support your case.

I hope this helps and if you have any further issues do not hesitate to contact us.

Dear Sir,

If you believe that the challan has been issued wrongly or that the amount is excessive, you have the right to contest it before the competent Traffic Court or Magistrate. Do not pay the challan immediately if you intend to challenge it. Request details of the offences and collect any available evidence, including photographs of where the motorcycle was parked and copies of the challan.

If the challan is valid and the violations are established, you may have to pay the prescribed fine and comply with the requirements for release of the vehicle. The police will generally release the vehicle after the legal formalities are completed and the applicable penalties are paid or otherwise dealt with according to the court's directions.
