Dear Client,
In the case of a pending POCSO Act Section 21 case, you can still apply for a government position, but you will be required to mention the case in your application without fail. Not mentioning pending criminal cases can cost you your job. But even if chosen, there are no chances of being appointed immediately. During the mandatory police verification process, all pending cases are checked, and as per the Avtar Singh v Union of India ruling, it is up to the authorities to deny or cancel the appointment till no grave charges exist against the person. I hope this answer helps. If you have any further query kindly do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you
