► My maternal grandmother is 87yrs now. 20 years back she have written the will for her house to my mother. We are staying in that house for more than 25 years. Now her other children wants to change that will and my grandmother is not mentally stable.. Plz guide us in this issue

You can ask the registrar to visit your home or when the new Will is made you can remain present. Another option is to file police compliant

The WILL came effective only after death of executant of WILL so WILL executed by maternal grandmother does not confer any right to your mother or any other member of your family. Your stay for 25 years also does not confer any ownership nor giver protection to you to stay in the house of grandmother. For rest detils required.

As per your query “Will” was already made but not executed. Previously  we need to know whether its a ancestral or self acquired property. Since the other children are willing to make fresh “Will” it should clearly mention the state the distribution of property and assets without any undue influence or coercion.
