► I bought a house 5 years ago from D Narsaiah,got registered on my name. Last month Bajaj finance Ltd affixed a notice to vacate the property as it was mortgage for loan of 10 lakhs taken by D ramesh, previous owner(before D Narsaiah).we didn't have any idea of mortgage as EC didn't showed it .Now it is legally registered on our name.We filed a case against Bajaj and D ramesh for stay so we can come out with some solution as Bajaj notice stated we need to vacate within a week...We received a docket order from DRT to pay 6lakhs as petitioner deposit within a month in order to get interim stay...why we should deposit???
What about the amount we pay???
How many days we stay will be granted???
For lifetime???

Your matter looks pretty serious as because you speak of an order having been passed.
Please connect with all documents and papers for a better advice.
Also, if you are neither the borrower, nor the guarantor, you need to pay nothing as because you are not privy to the contract. Looks like your matter has not been handled properly.
