wrong survey number entered in registered deed year 2003

► sir I purchased a property now under panchayithi limit near kr puram bangalore on year 2003. I built a ac sheet roof shed and taken a bescom power and given for rent. then I took a panchayithi katha and paid property tax. panchahas alloted PID Number from 2012. I went to panchayithi for E-khata, then i came to know that at the time of registering the property the survey number mentioned in the deed was wrong, next property number mentined. but both property owner is same. property set backs east,west,north and south are currect. I approched the land lord for rectification deed, they are not willing to do so. now original owner expired , property transfered to his wifes name. because of high price /sqft of property they are not willing. please sujjest me what can i do for this. thanking you

You should file a civil suit for rectification of the sale deed and correction of the survey number in your favour as it is a minor clerical error. Use all documents showing that you have been in continuous possession and paying taxes to buttress your claim before the court.

If they do not reply, you can simply file a suit for declaration and ownership against them with an interim prayer to the court to direct them to execute a deed of rectification before the appropriate registry office.
