Dear Sir, as per your query,

1. A registered Will cannot be used to get a Legal Heir Certificate — that certificate is issued only to natural heirs (spouse, children, parents).

2. Authorities like the Tahsildar or BDO do not verify or act on Wills.

3. To establish rights under a Will, you must apply for Probate of the Will in the civil court.

4. Once Probate is granted, it becomes legal proof of ownership — stronger and more valid than a legal heir certificate.
