► My mother nominated my brother for property. Now my brother said he is owner because he is only nominated. He took my signature on affidavit that I have no right.I did because the document mentions he is the owner. Now he is asking for NOC. I have doubt that he cheating me.please reply.Thanks.

Mere nomination does not confer any ownership right to the owner. Nominee is merely a receiver and on receipt of property which can be movable or immovable. Receiver is duty bound to distribute the property among class-1 other legal heirs. Claim your share in the property.
