Dear Sir/Madam, as per your query,
1. Police will first check age proof to confirm she is 18 or above.
2. They will ask if both of you are living together voluntarily, without pressure or force.
3. They may ask basic background details (how you know each other, any prior complaint)
4. They will ask why protection is needed
5. They will not ask about physical or sexual relationship, police cannot ask such questions
If you fear harm by police or/and family, you can file a petition under Article 226 to the High Court for protection.

Dear Sir/Madam,
What Police Will Usually Ask
Basic Identity Details
Police will first confirm:
Your names
Age proof (Aadhaar / voter ID / birth certificate)
Address
Mobile numbers
Whether you came voluntarily
Carry original ID + one photocopy
Consent & Willingness
They will ask both of you separately or together:
Are you living together by your own choice?
Is there any pressure, threat, or force from anyone?
Have your parents or relatives threatened you?
This is normal and legal questioning.
If you want stronger legal safety:
File a written representation requesting protection
Or approach High Court under Article 226 for protection order
