You require settlement deed to be duly registered, Relinquishment deed to be duly registered, Affidavit in court confirming settlement and containing terms of settlement etc.
Dear Sir,
Please take follwing documents and do accordingly.
Registered Compromise Deed / Settlement Deed
Mandatory & most important
Must clearly mention:
Details of all properties
That she has received her agreed share / consideration
That she relinquishes all present & future rights
That she will not file any further claim/suit
Must be registered at the Sub-Registrar Office
Stamp duty as per State rules (usually concessional for family settlement)
Dear Sir, as per your query,
You are required to:
1. Independent registered settlement deed
Execute a registered Family Settlement / Relinquishment Deed for the property case only. Do not refer to FIR, mediation, quashing, or criminal matters anywhere in this document.
2. Separate court compromise (if any suit pending)
If a partition suit is filed, record a standalone compromise before that court and get an order disposing the case on settlement, again without linking it to any criminal proceedings.
3. No-future-claim affidavit specific to property
Take an affidavit limited strictly to property rights, stating she will not raise any present or future claim over the property.
