Post my father’s demise flat name was transferred to my mother but the name mentioned in share certificate is of 1st marriage and there are company shares which were assigned in my father’s name so technically those shares should get transferred to my mother however she got remarried. Stepfather and mother were having compatibility issue, so they are not staying together.
My mother is not keen in getting divorce and now only option for her is name change so my question here is:
Can she change her name to 1st marriage middle name and surname?
If yes, then what is the procedure required for change of name in all official documents?
If no, then is Will and Affidavit document sufficient?
Is it possible for 2nd husband to claim property?
