► Hi, received a NOTICE UNDER SECTIONS 135(1) AND 135(1A) OF THE ELECTRICITY ACT,2003 FOR THEFT OF ELECTRICITY. My concern is Electricity meter is in common meter room which is under builder possession. I was threat by Vigilance officer at their office for FIR, Arrest and Disconnection of power supply. And forced me to pay 50% amount of assessment. Please note they have charged me for 1 year, however it’s a smart meter. No evidence or proof has given to me. NO response from higher escalation matrix.
