Dear Client, as per your query, in order to register a second Hindu marriage, one needs to basically provide proof of the termination of the previous marriage, such as a final divorce court order or the death certificate of the ex-spouse. The procedure will require filing an affidavit stating that one is legally eligible to re-marry, along with new wedding pictures and testimonials from witnesses. This would usually be done at the Sub-Registrar’s office or through government websites. One can begin the registration process at the official government registration website or at the Sub-Registrar’s office visiting in person. During the registration process, with valid identification cards at least three witnesses who attended the wedding must be present. The registrar will check all the documents submitted. And then the Registrar will enter the marriage particulars into the Marriage Register Book. And this will serve as the official government record of the marriage. I hope this answer is helpful. In case of further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank You.
