You can seek immediate protection. File a police complaint/FIR for stalking and criminal intimidation (IPC §§354D, 503, 507). Approach the Magistrate for a restraining/protection order and request interim relief. Preserve all evidence (calls, messages, social media, witness details). You can also seek cyber blocking/takedown of abusive content. If there is any domestic relationship, remedies under the Domestic Violence Act (protection/residence orders) may apply. An advocate can draft and file urgently for quick relief.

Dear Client,

You should treat this as a stalking and impersonation along with harassment matter and act now. Keep screenshots, call logs, messages, names of people he contacted, and any proof that he is falsely claiming a relationship with you, then file a written police complaint/FIR at your nearest police station or cyber‑crime cell under the stalking and identity‑impersonation provisions. In India, stalking and online harassment can be prosecuted, and if the police do not act you can escalate to the senior police officer/commissioner, the National Cyber Crime Portal, and in serious cases seek court protection/injunctions and also complain to the State Women’s Commission/NCW for faster intervention. If you want direct physical protection, tell the police clearly that you fear continued contact and want preventive action under the criminal law, and ask for a copy of the complaint number. If he is making threats, sending obscene messages, or trying to damage your reputation, those facts should be included because they strengthen the case and can support a restraining order and criminal charges.

I hope this helps and if you have any further issues do not hesitate to contact us.
