Collect all the proofs of payment of money i.e. bank transfer, upi transfer, etc of the money you gave to her. Initially, you can send a legal notice to her demanding the money in 7-15 days. If she does not repay the amount, you can file a money recovery suit in a civil court.
Do not make personal comments like “I will tell your new husband”. This may weaken your case.
