Dear Client,

Paying a sum of money in return of a job may be termed as “Cheating” as per Section 318 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, provided there is a fraudulent intent right from the beginning. Claims of harassment may sometimes be used by the other side as a defence tactic in the attempt to recover the money. It is always a better idea to keep a record of all financial transactions, including any agreement or communication. The first thing you might want to do could simply be sending a legal notice for the complete amount. If nothing works, you can file an FIR regarding the cheating.

I hope this answer helps. If you have any further query kindly do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you

Hi,

Get all details, documents and correspondences.

Please get in touch with me. You will have to file appropriate cases against such organizations who take money and then cheat you.

Dear Sir,

Through a lawyer, send a legal notice demanding:

Immediate refund of the money you paid,

With interest,

Within 7 or 15 days, failing which you will file a criminal complaint under Sections 406, 420 IPC and also a police complaint for cheating and criminal breach of trust.

Your act is illegal. Instead of harassing the party, you can lodge your complaint with police.
