Dear Sir,

our appointment is governed by the rules in force at the time of appointment

As per settled law (including Supreme Court precedents such as Y.V. Rangaiah v. J. Sreenivasa Rao, (1983) 3 SCC 284), eligibility conditions cannot be applied retrospectively to persons already appointed under the previous rules.

This means: Since you were validly appointed as TGT (Computer Science) in 2007 when B.Ed was not required, your appointment and service remain perfectly valid.

No authority can insist that you must now acquire a B.Ed retroactively to continue in the same post.
