Before you submit your resignation:

Look at your appointment letter or HR policy.

Note the required notice period (commonly 30 or 60 days in schools/colleges).

Even if you can’t serve the full notice, you can resign immediately by:

Requesting early release, or

Offering to adjust salary for the remaining period (if applicable).

Hello,

Generally a 30 day notice period is a standard procedural format used by all organizations. However, the answer to your query cannot be given without perusal of your employment documents which shall contain a statutory resignation clause and pre-requisite mandates. We will have to work it out accordingly. You can connect with me using the OLQ platform for further consultation on this matter.

Dear Sir, as per your query,

Read your employment agreement carefully and check if there is any provision for payment of salary in lieu of notice or not. If you are not willing to work for the 10 days period, then you can pay the salary amount and leave immediately. If not, then draft a detailed resignation letter to your concerned department and serve the notice period of 10 days.
