► I have a query related to passport appointment Father's real name - A B Mother's real name - S On my 10th Father's name - A T Mother's real name - S T I have my father's real name on my aadhar card and my mother don't have surname on her ID its just a first name (S) I have entered my parents real name in passport application. Can you help me out I have an appointment next week and I have affidavit and I have published an ad in the newspaper stating that its a wrong name in 10-12 real name is A B and S in the name of my parents

He/she may ask a simple question like:
“Why is your father’s surname different on the school certificate?”
Just explain politely:

“Sir/Ma’am, there was a mistake in my school records. My father’s actual name is A B and mother’s actual name is S, which is supported by the affidavit and newspaper publication.”

That’s sufficient.
