Dear Sir, as per your query,
Carry all proof documents:
10th class certificate (shows the incorrect names A T & S T)
Your parents’ ID proofs showing their real names (Aadhar, PAN, etc.)
Affidavit stating the correct names
Newspaper publication with the correction
Explain clearly to the officer:
State that the names on your 10th class certificate had a clerical mistake, but the real names are A B and S (supported by Aadhar/other ID)
Mention that you have an affidavit and newspaper publication as per passport rules

Dear Sir,
Verification Officer (Government Officer)
He/she may ask a simple question like:
“Why is your father’s surname different on the school certificate?”
Just explain politely:
“Sir/Ma’am, there was a mistake in my school records. My father’s actual name is A B and mother’s actual name is S, which is supported by the affidavit and newspaper publication.”
That’s sufficient.
