► I have taken admission in a private culinary college in bangalore. I am from utter pradesh. It's been 3 months and i want to leave the college bcoz the college teaching is not up to the mark. They made us to deep cleaning when ever they want, when the other culinary chefs are not there. They provide cheep ingredients and their educational status is not up to the mark. They have taken my original 10th, 12th mark sheets, my transfer transfer certificate, my character certificate. They made me to sign an agreement which say if we leave college then we have to pay all 3 years fees other wise they will not return my original documents. It's just 3 moths in the college. I have paid 3lakhs 32 thousand as a 1st year fees. I wanted to withdraw from the college and wanted the refund whatever is possible. When I have asked them give a copy of the documents in which I have signed they said they will not give me that, and when I have asked them to at least show me the those paper in which I have singed they said they will not even show me that too. This culinary academy is worse. Today I have made an appointment with the principal, could you please tell me what set of questions I should ask to the principal about withdraw and how to get my original documents and how to get refund from the college whatever I deserve. I have taken admission in b.voc in bakery and patisserie. This is not even IOH certified, at the time of admission they didn't mentioned this. I doubt that the college is even ugc certified, and at the end of the college whether I will get any degree or just a skilled certificate.

What is your age? Agreement was signed by you or your father/guardian? Your reasoning seem an afterthought. If agreement is signed when you were above 18 years then such agreement is binding and you are liable to pay the fee as stipulated in the agreement. However, in no eventuality college can withhold your decrees, marks sheet, certificate etc. Withholding your documents is  blackmailing which too is illegal.
