Cyber Crime
► Three years ago, I filed a cyber-crime complaint. Now, after three years, I received a notice from the XLV ACMM Court, Bengaluru, saying police filed a “B report” and I must appear on 20th December. I do not wish to continue with this case and don’t want to attend the hearing. Please advise what I can legally do to avoid appearing in court.

Dear Sir,

Send a “No Objection to B-Report” Letter (Best & Easiest)

You can avoid attending court by sending a simple written submission stating:

You accept the B-report

You do not want to pursue the case

The court may close the case

You can send this through:

Email (if court email is provided)
Speed Post addressed to the court

Through any advocate on your behalf (even for a minimum fee)
By filing it in court registry without personally going inside the court hall
