Take NOC from present advocate and thereafter you can change your advocate.

You will need to get a No objection certificate (NOC) from you current lawyer and collect all your documents (notices, court pleadings, evidence , orders etc.,) from him/her and ensure that all outstanding bills of the advocate in relation to your case has been paid with receipts.

After obtaining the NOC from your current lawyer, your new lawyer will file a new Vakalath namma with their name and submit it to Court which be then be officially put on court record. Your file with the pleading needs to be handed over to your new lawyer to familiarize and prepare for the next hearing.
