► I was traveling with my mother and sister in my car. The condition of the road was quite bad and it was bit difficult to drive. There was an auto going in front of me and when I tried to overtake it another auto was going in the left side and I applied brake between two autos and managed to drive without any hit. As I crossed two autos and going, one of the auto guy came nd stopped before my car. He came to me and abused in bad words and started hitting my car telling that I was driving rashly and was about to hit his auto.
I was with my mother and sister and the words which he abused me was very bad and me and my family got very much threatened by his actions and he was about to beat me. My mother was panicked and shocked by his behavior and I apologised to hum and moved from there.
After that I am unable to do my work normally and Even sleep properly since the issue was running in my mind and my mother and sister was very much scared and telling me not to go out.
My question is even if I was driving rashly and hit his vehicle, does he has any rights to abuse me and my family and threaten me on the road in front of public.
Pls suggest me if I file a complaint on the auto driver under IPC 504 and 505 will the police take action on the auto driver. And also suggest me is the sections appropriate to file a complaint since me and my family went in trauma and depression by the actions and words of the driver.
I only have a photo of the auto which has it s registration number. I don have any proof or evidence to prove that the driver abused and threatened me.. my mother and sister are the only evidence. Or shuld I just ignore it and overcome it (eventhough it is difficult) Pls give suggestions on this issue.

Dear Sir,
File complaint within reasonable time (delay weakens cases)
Stay calm and factual (no exaggeration)
Don’t engage in arguments again with the driver
Consider installing a dashcam for future safety
The auto driver had no right to abuse or threaten
IPC 504 & 506 are fully applicable
Evidence is sufficient
Police can and should act
Ignoring it may harm your peace of mind
