FIR quash

No, while quashing an FIR, the Judge does not automatically pass orders for wife or child maintenance.

However, maintenance conditions can be imposed in specific situations.
 

Only in these limited situations:

Mutual Settlement / Compromise Case

If FIR quashing is based on settlement/MOU, the Court may:

Record maintenance or alimony terms already agreed

Make compliance a condition for quashing

Example: “FIR is quashed subject to the petitioner paying ₹X towards permanent alimony/maintenance.”

Yes, as such no bar but such order can be challenged in SC if the relief is not prayed for in the petition and if parties have not arrived to a settlement.
