Dear Client,

Based on the facts provided, the listing of your case every Wednesday is an administrative decision of the High Court registry. The cause list length varies depending on the number of matters assigned to a particular bench on that day, and it is not necessarily targeted at your case. Fresh matters may be shorter on other days, but service matters or expedited categories can be grouped on specific days, which explains the longer list on Wednesday.

The procedure of listing is handled by the registry under the directions of the Chief Justice, and allocation of days/benches is an internal administrative function. If you feel that the long Wednesday list is delaying your matter, you may file an application before the court or approach the registry seeking a change of listing day or request for early hearing.

Hope this clarifies your position.
