LEGAL RECOURSE (If Money Not Returned)
If no refund happens after the police verification:
File a consumer complaint before the District Consumer Commission against:
The fraudulent app (if traceable), and
Your bank (for deficiency of service if they didn’t act promptly).
You can also file a Section 420 IPC (cheating) complaint through a private complaint under Section 200 CrPC in Magistrate Court.
