Dear Sir, You may lodge complaint through your mother or you may lodge complaint on behalf of your mother saying that he himself forged her signature on a cheque. Whether it is registered or not. You will have a good defense if any cheque bounce case is filed. If filed you may file an application for referring the disputed cheque to the handwriting expert to compare the original signature of your mother and the forged signature on the cheque.

There will be legally enforceable debt between lender and your mother, if file a case against your mother, case will be dismissed.

You forged your mother signature and issued your mother cheque, if proved he may file a complaint against you for cheating and forgery then you will be held liable.

We can issue a legal notice on your behalf. As it is a false impersonation, a serious legal matter. This action will effectively safeguard both your mother and you from his current blackmail and potential legal threats.

Since signatures are forged so ultimately you will be booked and be tried for forgery etc. However, the possibility of filing of case by lender against parents cannot be ruled out but truth will prevail and be found out in investigation.
