You should first send a mail to the bank asking for a copy of the statement of loan account with all the details. If the bank still harasses you, file an online complaint under RBI’s Integrated Ombudsman Scheme. If you want to pay some amount to the bank and close the account, you can send a legal notice to the bank asking for restructuring of loan/One Time Settlement in lump sum payment.
