► i bought a flat in lucknow uttar pradesh registry done which mentions 2 demand drafts out of these 2 dds one was not cleared by bank due to some name issue.
if RTGS is done will it require change in registry or a notarised affidavit stating the new payment mode signed by both parties is ok

No change or amendment in registry is required if DD get honoured later on subsequent date.

Hello,
If the payment has already been made and the seller is not creating trouble then there is no need to change the deed of sale or rectify it. However, the need of an affidavit (1st class JM) not just notarized is utmost required from both parties.
The seller shall say that he has received and shall not institute any case for right, title and interest and the Buyer (i.e. You) shall affirm that you have made the RTGS in place and stead of the DD and that such affidavit shall be used as evidence for the purpose of showcasing completion of payment.
