► My writ petition is pending before the High Court of Chhattisgarh. The Hon’ble Court has passed an order directing that the case be listed for final hearing in February 2026. I want to know whether final arguments usually take place on the first date of such listing or whether adjournment is common. If adjournment happens, what is the reasonable time frame within which the case is likely to be finally disposed of after it is ordered to be listed for final hearing? Kindly advise based on High Court practice.
