Startup India Registration Process
Incorporate Your Business
Firstly, register your entity as a Private Limited Company, LLP, or Partnership Firm and obtain the Certificate of Incorporation.
Create an Account on Startup India Portal
One needs to visit the official Startup India portal and create a user account using basic details such as name, email, and mobile number.
Apply for DPIIT Recognition
Fill out the online application form by providing details of the business, directors/partners, and nature of innovation.
Upload Required Documents
Submit the Certificate of Incorporation/Registration, PAN, and a brief write up explaining how business is innovative or scalable.
Receive Recognition Certificate
After verification, DPIIT issues the Startup India Recognition Certificate, usually within a few working days
